Each area has its own personality—whether it’s East Nashville’s creative vibe, the convenience of West End, or the growth happening in Wedgewood-Houston. There’s a lot to unpack here, and choosing the right pocket of Nashville makes all the difference.
Brentwood, TN
One of the most desirable areas in Middle Tennessee, Brentwood is known for its luxury homes, top-tier schools, and established feel.
It does come with a higher price point—but if it fits your budget, it’s hard to beat. And if it doesn’t, don’t worry—there are plenty of other areas nearby that offer great value and similar lifestyle benefits.
Franklin, TN
Think Brentwood—with a little more charm and a slightly more relaxed pace.
Franklin is known for its historic downtown, which feels like something straight out of a Hallmark movie, along with beautiful homes and access to highly rated Williamson County schools. While price points can be higher, many buyers feel the lifestyle here is worth it.
Hendersonville, TN
If lake life is high on your priority list, Hendersonville should be at the top of your list.
Located along Old Hickory Lake, this area is perfect for boating, wakeboarding, or simply enjoying the water. It’s also one of Nashville’s more established suburbs and was home to the legendary Johnny Cash.
Mt. Juliet, TN
If you’re looking for a suburban lifestyle with easy access to Nashville, Mt. Juliet checks a lot of boxes.
It’s one of the fastest-growing cities in Tennessee, driven by strong school zones, convenient access to downtown, and proximity to Nashville International Airport. You’ll also find a mix of newer communities and access to nearby lake areas.
If you travel frequently or want a balance between convenience and community, Mt. Juliet is definitely worth exploring.

Located just outside of Franklin in Williamson County, Nolensville has seen significant growth in recent years—especially among young families.
