Thinking about moving to Mt. Juliet but not sure which neighborhood is the right fit? You’re not alone. One of the biggest questions I get from relocation buyers is how the different parts of Mt. Juliet compare. This guide is designed to give you a simple overview of several neighborhoods and communities around the city, including home styles, general location, amenities, and what makes each area feel different.

There isn’t one “best” neighborhood for everyone, so the goal here is to help you narrow down which areas may be worth exploring based on your lifestyle, budget, commute, and the type of home you’re looking for.

Jackson Hills

If you’re looking for a newer community with a modern feel, Jackson Hills in Mt. Juliet is definitely one to explore. Located near Golden Bear Gateway and I-40 at Exit 229, the neighborhood gives you easy access to Nashville while also putting you close to a growing amount of new shopping and commercial development—including the new Costco coming to the area.

Jackson Hills Neighborhood Mt Juliet Tennessee

Homes in Jackson Hills are all single-family homes with a more modern design and feel, with an average purchase price around $775,000 as of 2026. The community also offers a long list of neighborhood amenities, giving it more of that resort-style atmosphere that many buyers relocating to Mt. Juliet are looking for.

Jackson Hills is currently zoned for Mt. Juliet High School, which is actually within walking distance of parts of the community. Between the newer homes, amenities, location, and continued growth along the Golden Bear Gateway corridor, Jackson Hills has become one of the communities I frequently show buyers who are considering a move to Mt. Juliet.

Baird Farms

If convenience is high on your list, Baird Farms in Mt. Juliet is hard to overlook. Located just minutes from I-40 at Exit 226, the community puts you right in the heart of the Providence area with easy access to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and just about everything you need for everyday life.

The homes in Baird Farms are newer but tend to have more of a custom-home feel, which helps give the neighborhood its own personality. As of 2026, the average purchase price is around $729,000. The community is currently zoned for the Gladeville/Wilson Central school zones, so buyers will want to verify the specific school assignment for any home they’re considering.

One trade-off to the convenient location is traffic. The Providence area can get extremely busy during peak travel times and around the holidays, so that’s something I always like relocation buyers to know upfront. But if being close to I-40, shopping, restaurants, and the conveniences of Providence is important to you, Baird Farms is certainly a Mt. Juliet neighborhood worth exploring.

Willoughby Station

If you’re looking for more of that classic neighborhood feel, Willoughby Station in Mt. Juliet is one I would definitely put on your radar. Its central Mt. Juliet location makes it easy to get to both the north and south sides of town, whether you’re heading toward Providence, I-40, or the shops and restaurants along Mt. Juliet Road.

Willoughby Station Mt. Juliet

Willoughby Station is made up entirely of single-family homes, with an average purchase price around $560,000 as of 2026. The neighborhood also offers great community amenities, including a pool and plenty of shared spaces that give residents opportunities to actually get to know their neighbors.

For me, one of the things that stands out about Willoughby Station is that it feels like the kind of neighborhood where childhood memories are made—kids riding bikes, meeting friends at the pool, and growing up alongside other families in the community. Homes are currently zoned for Mt. Juliet Middle School and Mt. Juliet High School, making this an established Mt. Juliet neighborhood worth exploring if that traditional community atmosphere is what you’re looking for.

Nichols Vale

If you’re interested in living on the north side of Mt. Juliet, Nichols Vale is another community worth exploring. Its location gives residents convenient access to the growing north side of town while still keeping you within easy reach of everything Mt. Juliet has to offer.

One thing that makes Nichols Vale a little different from some of the other neighborhoods on this list is the variety of housing options. The community includes both single-family homes and townhomes, which means you’ll see a wider range of home prices and styles. As of 2026, the average purchase price is around $650,000, but that number can vary quite a bit depending on the type and size of home you’re considering.

Nichols Vale is currently zoned for Green Hill High School, making it another option to explore for buyers specifically looking at the north side of Mt. Juliet.

New Construction in Mt. Juliet

If you’re considering new construction in Mt. Juliet, there is certainly no shortage of options right now. Whether your priority is lot size, living on the north or south side of town, a particular school zone, or simply finding a community that fits your lifestyle, there are new developments throughout Mt. Juliet offering homes across a wide range of price points.

Another reason new construction is worth exploring is the builder incentives currently available. Many builders are offering competitive promotions that can include things like fixed 30-year interest rates, closing cost assistance, and other buyer incentives. Depending on the home and builder, those incentives can make a significant difference in your monthly payment and overall cost of purchasing.

How to Choose a Neighborhood in Mt. Juliet.

When I help someone relocate to Mt. Juliet, I usually recommend looking beyond just the house itself.
