Not Sure Where to Live in Tennessee? Here’s Why Mt. Juliet Keeps Coming Up.
Mt. Juliet has quickly become a top choice for many relocation buyers thanks to its small-town feel, easy access to Nashville and BNA, and highly rated school zones. It’s especially appealing to those who want convenience without sacrificing space or community.
Another big draw is the area’s growth in new construction, giving buyers more options, modern layouts, and, in many cases, strong builder incentives.

Why “Best Places to Live in Tennessee” Isn’t a One-Size-Fits-All Answer
For many buyers relocating to Middle Tennessee, one of the first things they realize is that while the entire region is beautiful, it’s definitely not “one size fits all.” That’s why it’s so important—especially early on—to understand what each client is really looking for.
From daily commute to school zones to activities for kids, Middle Tennessee offers a wide range of great areas—but it can feel overwhelming if you don’t know where to start.
Mt. Juliet often ends up on my shortlist because it offers a strong balance of convenience and lifestyle. With easy access to both Nashville and Lebanon, proximity to the Music City Star, and some of the highest-rated schools in the area, it checks a lot of boxes for relocation buyers.
Many clients begin their search focused on places like Franklin or Brentwood. But what they quickly discover is that in Mt. Juliet, they can often stretch their budget further while making very few trade-offs in terms of lifestyle and convenience.

Newer Homes + Neighborhood Amenities
Mt. Juliet offers a great balance of established neighborhoods and newer construction, giving buyers a wide range of options depending on what they’re looking for.

A couple of my favorite established communities are Jackson Hills and Willoughby Station. Jackson Hills offers modern amenities with a unique “golf cart-friendly” feel and is conveniently located near Mt. Juliet High School. Willoughby Station feels like something out of a ‘90s family movie—established homes, strong community events, and the kind of neighborhood where kids are outside playing on summer nights and big trick-or-treat evenings become lasting memories.
At the same time, Mt. Juliet continues to grow with new construction communities, which is a big draw for many relocation buyers. Builders like Meritage Homes are currently offering strong incentives—such as fixed, below-market interest rates and, in many cases, covering buyer closing costs.
New construction can be a great opportunity, but if you’re relocating, it’s important to understand not just the incentives, but the builder, the community, and the long-term value.

How I Help Buyers Relocate to Areas Like Mt. Juliet
Relocating to a new area—especially from out of state—comes with a different set of challenges. You’re not just choosing a home, you’re choosing a lifestyle, a community, and a place your family will settle into.
That’s where my process is different.
With nearly 10 years of experience helping buyers move to Middle Tennessee, I provide a one-on-one, hands-on approach that’s built specifically for relocation clients. My goal is to eliminate the guesswork and give you clarity at every step.
Here’s how I help:
- Narrowing down the right areas first — based on your lifestyle, commute, school preferences, and long-term goals
- Custom video tours of homes and neighborhoods — so you can confidently explore options without needing multiple trips
- Building a clear relocation plan — so you know exactly what to expect and what your next step is
Most of my clients start this process before ever stepping foot in Tennessee—and by the time they visit (or even make an offer), they already feel confident in their decision.
